Dr. Ata Amini
Senior Scientist in Chemoinformatics
Dr. Amini, BSc, MSc was a research associate in the field of chemoinformatics at Imperial College London from July 2003 until April 2007 when he joined Equinox Pharma as a Senior Scientist. His main research interest is in using modern computational techniques, such as structure-activity relationships based on Inductive Logic Programming, for drug-lead discovery. He has also developed a number of rule-based software packages able to detect potential drug hits based on 3D structures and hydrophobicity.
